Congratulations to all the recipients of a RCTLC Sports Award. The awards ceremony took place recently at the Racket Hall Hotel and once again the event was a great success.

This year there was a wide geographical spread among the Award Winners who were chosen by the sports journalists of the local media.
The Awards were headed by Hall of Fame recipient John Dillon of Roscrea. John captained the first Roscrea Senior Hurling team to win a County Tipperary Hurling Final, forty years ago, in 1968.

 Joe Tynan, Michael Nolan, John Dillon, Francis Loughnane and Jackie Hannon were all in attendance at the recent RCTLC Sports Awards. All hurled with distinction for Roscrea and were delighted to support John Dillon who was the “Hall Of fame” recipient on the night.
