A tremendous opportunity will present itself to all cooking enthusiasts on Monday the 30th of November, courtesy of Bernie’s SuperValu Roscrea. As part of their Christmas celebrations, the town’s leading supermarket store has invited Chef Ailish Hennessy, Fiacrí Country House to attend a special “Christmas Day Cook In” at the Damer Court Hotel at 8.00pm. A fabulous night of fun and entertainment is planned. Admission to the event costs just €10.00 and patrons are advised that all proceeds will be given to Dean Maxwell Home and Hospice, Roscrea. On the night you will learn all you need to know about Christmas Day cooking as well as a variety of spectacular ideas that can be incorporated using your Christmas Day leftovers. A Christmas Hamper draw will also take place on the night and early indications point towards a full house, so please come early as there will be limited availability.
