Historic Gathering in the Chapter Room at Mount St. Joseph Abbey RoscreaSeldom if ever in its 125-year history has the Chapter Room at the Cistercian Abbey of Roscrea witnessed such a diverse gathering of ecclesiastic and secular scholars as on a recent Sunday afternoon. Pictured are the major players in the Memolib - Munster Monastic And Ecclesiastic Libraries - Project which was launched at the end of the Roscrea Spring Conference.

Pictured before the organ recital by the Dean Of Cashel, Dr Philip Knowles in the Abbey Church of Mt St Joseph at the conclusion of the Roscrea Spring Conference are George Cunningham and dean Knowles. George Cunningham is a University Of Limerick representative on the Bolton Board Of Management, and also chairs that body. He has recently been elected as Deputy Chairman of the thirty five-person Governing Authority of UL.
