Concert in Roscrea Castle Complex 8.15pm

Hosted by Roscrea Heritage Society of “Emigrant Music – Lost and Found”. This features well-known traditional musicians Maire Breathnach, Garry Walsh, Dave Hennessy and Donal Clancy and is well worth attending.

Singer’s Club in The White House at 10pm

The Fear an Ti is none other than our own Tadhg Maher and all are welcome. Come and enjoy a host of traditional singers.

CD Launch in The Auburn Lounge at 9.30pm

Michael Ryan releases his debut CD of traditional whistling tunes. Michael is a multi-time All Ireland whistling champion. The venue is The Auburn Lounge and all are welcome. There is a variety of music planned for the night and Michael will perform one of his favourite pieces on the night.

Official Launch of Fleadh in The Damer Court Hotel at 8.00pm

An tUas. Donnchadh O Cinneide, Cathaoirleach, Coiste Thiobraid Arann, officially opens the Fleadh. Guest of Honor, an tUas Labhras O Murchu, Ard Striuraitheoir, Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.

Tadhg is renowned traditional singer who has many All-Ireland titles to his credit. This is his debut CD of favourite traditional tunes. Guest Michael O Suileabhain will launch Tadhg’s career. Hosts of guest musicians etc.
