A very enjoyable night was had by patrons of the Tower last Saturday as the monthly Comhaltas session took place. The next monthly session is planned for Saturday March 31st at 9.30 p.m. but before that there is the little celebration of St. Patrick's Day. As part of the preparations for St. Patrick's Day, there will be a rehearsal for an Irish Mass - in the O'Riada tradition - held in St. Cronan's Church at 8.30 p.m. next Tuesday 13th of March. All those interested in taking part are requested to attend.
Preparations are now under way for the Tipperary Fleadh Cheoil and members are reminded that Fleadh entries must be organized now. In Tipperary, closing date is April 15th. No late entries will be accepted, so if you wish to compete, you should complete and return the entry form to the branch secretary as soon as possible.
