On this Friday evening the 1st of September, at 6.00pm, Ireland’s most famous Puppet Theatre will make a welcome return to Roscrea.

Following on from the success of the “Aonach Festival” last year, “The Lambert Puppet Theatre” makes an eagerly awaited return to perform once again at Roscrea Castle the venue which provided the perfect back drop for one of the most popular events in the town last year. At the time, hundreds of local children gathered for the most successful evening of last year’s festival.  Thanks to the generosity of local community website www.roscreaonline.com and Roscrea O.P.W the show returns again this year for an even bigger performance and best of all, it will be free to the public.

Creators of The Wanderly Wagon and “Bosco” the Puppet theatre has diversified in recent years and brings to the stage, a show of exceptionally high standards.  The Lambert Puppet Theatre will bring to Roscrea, a show with something for everyone of all ages.  A full show has been organised for the evening.  Admission to a show like what is expected on Friday is usually quite expensive, so this truly is a unique opportunity to come out and enjoy the best puppet performers in Ireland for free.  Do come along and enjoy what promises to be yet again another memorable evening in the Castle Courtyard.
