Congratulations to Theresa Larkin and her School of Music for hosting a most entertaining and memorable variety concert full of music, song and dance in the Racket Hall Hotel, Roscrea, recently.
The Theresa Larkin School Of Music helped raise almost €4000.00 for Brú Columbanus University College Cork, recently. Pictured presenting the cheque are L/R Theresa Larkin (School Of Music, Roscrea), Annemaria Lyons, (Manager Of Bru Columbanus) and Catherine Larkin, Boulerea, Knock, Roscrea.

The variety concert helped raise €3932.50 in aid of Brú Columbanus, University Hospital, Cork. Brú Columbanus is a facility that provides “home from home” accommodation for relatives of patients in Cork Hospitals and Hospice.

Each day families needing accommodation so that they can be close to their loved ones, are referred to Brú. The services Brú offer, help lessen the stress of the financial worry these families are faced with when one of their own has to endure an extensive stay in hospital.
Brú Columbanus is just one of many charities that have benefited from Theresa’s skills and generosity in recent years. Together with her musical group “Amadeus”, Theresa has raised €24,102.50 for organisations such as St Annes, The Dean Maxwell Home, The Children Of Chernobyl, Hospice, Nenagh Hospital and St Vincent De Paul.
Theresa would like to thank all the musicians, dancers, singers, organisers and those who helped in anyway with the tremendous success of the recent variety concert. The concert was a rare opportunity for live entertainment lovers to relax and enjoy some of the best musicians, singers and dancers that we have living in Roscrea and it’s neighbouring towns and villages. Well done to all concerned.
