Roscrea Lions Club are for the second year running, hosting an International Family
Fun Day the Killavilla Soccer Complex on next Sunday 21st September.
Roscrea Lions Club are for the second year running, hosting an International Family Fun Day the Killavilla Soccer Complex on next Sunday 21st September.
The day is devoted to the people of Roscrea and District, national and international. The day will consist of friendly soccer, athletics, tug o’war, fun races, including egg and spoon race. There will be plenty of events for children including face painting.

The day proper will begin at 2pm and the 5 a side soccer tournament will begin at 12 to allow for the run-offs. A free bus will ferry people form Rosemary Square at 11am and again at 1 pm and will return in the evening.

The aim of the Fund Day is to help foreign workers and locals alike to integrate and spend a healthy day outdoors in an atmosphere of friendly family fun.
The Lions Club is indebted to Killavlla Soccer Club Committee in allowing the use of the complex and to Roscrea Community Games Committee for helping in organising the athletic events.
