Birr & District Motor Club are working Flat out for their 40th Anniversary Celebrations which will take place on the 15th & 16th November 2008. The celebrations will mark forty wonderful years and will also involve raising as much funds as possible for North Tipperary Hospice.
The Damer Court Hotel, Roscrea, will host a Gala Dinner on Saturday 15th November. Tickets are priced at just €50.00 per person and this includes a four course meal, live entertainment on the night by Christy Carey and the Broken Halfshafts, entry into a raffle for some quirky spot prizes, an exhibition of motorsport memorabilia and a trip down memory lane with video footage of rallying days gone by!

On Sunday 16th November the club is holding a Motorsport Show in the function room and car park of the Damer Court Hotel. On the day there will be vehicles on display from all branches of Motorsport; Classic Rallying,WRC, Group Band Forestry Rallying, Hillclimb, Autotest, Autocross, Rallycross, Karting and Formula 1 as well as our two wheeled friends the bike!. There will also be trade stands with Rally Merchandise, Competitor equipment, DVDs and photograph's all available for purchase. A rally simulator will also be set up inside the hotel! There will be a limited amount of special edition club merchandise available for purchase on the day. Anyone with a special interest in these items should pre-order to avoid disappointment. Admission for the Show is FREE!!! Donations will be accepted on the day by Hospice collectors.
